Park your car just there in the private carpark outside and come on in!!

Welcome to the reception area...

Can you see the little seating area on the right as you walk into reception where you can rest on the little oak bench and take your shoes off, tucking them underneath in their cubby holes? Those hooks just above are to hang your coats on.

Don't forget to check out the notice board on the left that will let you know what's going on in the studio.

Just down there on the left are the lockers to keep your keys, phones and bags safe and the studio free from distractions.

That door ahead of you? It goes into a small changing room and toilet that I have had built. I just love the dark teal walls, tiles and copper accents don't you?

Yes, thats the chair yoga chairs and tables tucked under the stairs along with a basket of aerial yoga hammocks. That box is full of the kids yoga equipment. Isn't it great that I have somewhere to tuck things away out of the studio?

Can you see where I have spent hours (with the help of my husband and son) sanding and revarnishing the stairs that leads up to a little kitchen and my office? That used to be the balcony overlooking the squash court up there but that has all been bricked up now. My lovely, lovely student Richard (yes he of the crazy socks) has given me an induction hob, microwave and halogen oven so that I can still prepare drinks and wonderful suppers for you during my events. It also means that Mike will be offering us his magical Cacao Ceremonies too. I cannot wait!

Now come and see the studio!!

The exposed beams going across that new 9 foot ceiling will be where I will be hanging the yoga hammocks for aerial yoga. It is protected by a brand new roof above so no more leaks.

Either side of the door as you enter are shelves for all the yoga, pilates and barre props. Do help yourself to anything you might need.

Those two floor to ceiling picture windows at the end let in so much natural light don't they? The floaty voile curtains infront keep the room lovely and private still. Yes I have black out curtains to pull across too - my candle lit classes would be spoilt by any lights from outside otherwise. Those are my gorgeous gongs hung on the wall between the windows. I am keeping my precious alchemy crystal bowls out of the studio when not in use. And yes I will be holding plenty of sound events in here - the acoustics are perfect.

The barres down each side wall? They are for the barre classes Mike will be taking (did you know he is a professional dancer and a qualified dance teacher as well as a yoga teacher? We are so so lucky to have him here. ) Those barres will come in handy during chair yoga and tricky balancing poses in yoga too.

Don't you just love the mandala shadow lights on the side walls? They came from Etsy and a small company in Germany. Aren't they stunning? I wanted to create lots of options for mood lighting in here so that I don't just have hard spot lights in our eyes.

The floor? No that's not new. It is the solid wood squash court floor that I have sanded and waxed to a rich deep colour. It's incredible isn't it? And yes - shoe free means it's clean of course!

Isn't it lovely and warm? The heating is buried in the newly constructed insulated walls and run off a brand new central heating system. But don't worry - those big picture windows open fully to let in lots of cool air should we all get a sweat on.
