Sacred Seasons: Root to Rise
A nurturing spring gathering: yoga, cacao, sound & reflection — rooting into support & rising anew
Service Description
Root to Rise is a gentle, nurturing gathering inspired by the Spring Equinox — a moment of balance, renewal and quiet awakening. As winter softens and the light slowly returns, nature reminds us that growth doesn’t happen all at once. It starts underground, in stillness. Roots deepen before anything blooms. This Sacred Seasons experience invites you to follow that same rhythm. Rather than rushing into change or setting pressure-filled intentions, Root to Rise offers space to gently reconnect with what supports you, nourish your nervous system, and allow fresh energy to emerge naturally. Arriving just after the New Moon in Pisces — a soft, watery moon associated with healing, compassion and spiritual connection — this gathering offers a beautiful opportunity to release what feels heavy, practice self-kindness, and open to the season ahead. Held close to Mother’s Day, Root to Rise also softly honours nurturing in all its forms — the care we receive, the care we give, and the care we are learning to offer ourselves. It is open to everyone: mothers and daughters, friends, and those coming solo. No yoga experience is needed. Throughout the evening we will weave together: • Slow, grounding yoga to support the body and settle the mind • Guided meditation and quiet reflection • A heart-opening cacao ceremony • Immersive sound healing • Gentle space to rest, integrate and connect • Tea and cake to close Movement will be soft and accessible, designed to bring awareness out of the head and into the body, helping you feel steady, supported and gently energised. The sound journey offers a deeply restorative close, allowing everything to settle and integrate. Root to Rise is not about fixing yourself or becoming someone new. It’s about remembering your roots, honouring what holds you, and creating space for what wants to grow next. Leave feeling grounded, nourished and renewed. PLEASE NOTE: Mats are provided. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. Maybe bring a bottle of water with you. CONTRAINDICATIONS PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING: that a number of conditions and illnesses are indicated as unsuitable for sound healing. If you are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, severe or clinical mental health problems (especially those with noise anxiety or hypersensitivity to sound) or have implants or plates in the body (metal plates, pins, ball joints in particular) please seek medical advice and or reach out directly to me before booking the class.
