Flight School - Intermediate / Advanced
A 2 hour immersive workshop in aerial yoga especially for those who have experience of aerial yoga
Service Description
Aerial yoga is a unique blend of traditional yoga and acrobatics performed using a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling. This practice allow you to explore poses with the support of the hammock to enhance your flexibility, building core strength and deepening relaxation. We run weekly classes each Friday evening and Sunday afternoon here in the studio, but our Flight School runs these 2 hour workshops each month so that you can take your time to really develop your skills and build your confidence. These immersive workshops will allow you to work up from beginner to advanced with the opportunity to modify the poses to suit the level that you are working at. This workshop is specifically for those who have exprience of aerial yoga and are wanting to develop more advanced poses. It will be assumed that you have experience of foundational poses so that the warm up flow can be well...flowy! Then you will work through more advanced poses with time for questions and support. This workshop is open to adults and well behaved over 12 year olds on the condition that parents are aware that this is an adult workshop open to Teens and therefore we ask that all students listen carefully to the instructors and do not distract other students PLEASE NOTE: Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that covers your arms and legs to ensure comfort and safety in the hammock. Please do not wear make up or fake tan and remove watches and jewellery to prevent damage to the silk hammocks.
